What does 'perpetual license' mean?
You pay once and own the license forever. There are no monthly or annual subscription fees. The software continues to work indefinitely.
What happens after the 30-day free trial?
After your trial expires, the software switches to read-only mode. You can still view and export all your data, but you won't be able to create or edit records. Purchase a license at any time to restore full access — no data is ever lost.
Do all plans include the same features?
Yes. Every plan includes all features. The only difference between plans is the number of user seats included. There is no feature gating whatsoever.
How do I replace my trial license after purchasing?
Sign in to TissueCulture Pro with an Admin account, open Settings > About, and select Update License. Re-enter your Admin password, paste the entire paid-license token from your fulfillment email, and select Update License. If the paid plan allows fewer seats than your current number of active users, first deactivate enough accounts under Settings > Users. Deactivation preserves their records and your lab data.
What is a seat?
A seat is one user account for one person who can sign in to TissueCulture Pro. Choose a plan with enough seats for the people on your team who need their own login.
Is TissueCulture Pro self-hosted?
Yes. TissueCulture Pro is installed on your own server. Your data never leaves your control. There is no cloud dependency.
What if my lab needs more than 25 seats?
Contact us for a larger commercial license, multi-site use, or custom purchasing requirements. Performance will depend on your own server hardware since TissueCulture Pro is self-hosted.
What do I need to run TissueCulture Pro?
TissueCulture Pro is supported and tested on Windows 11 and Ubuntu LTS. Minimum host requirements are 2 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB available storage, and a stable internet connection. For production or multi-user installs, we recommend 4 CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB or more available storage, and an always-on host.
