Refund Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. Free Trial
A 30-day trial begins on the date a trial license key is issued. Customers are encouraged to fully evaluate the Software, installation process, documentation, and fit for their workflow during this period before purchasing.
2. Perpetual Licenses
Licenses are one-time purchases. Because a full-featured free trial is available before purchase, paid license sales are generally final except as expressly stated in this policy, agreed by the Company in writing, provided under the applicable merchant-of-record refund policy, or required by law.
3. Refund Eligibility
The Company normally considers product-related refund requests submitted within 30 days of purchase if:
- A reproducible technical defect materially prevents the Software from performing its core documented functions and cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe
- An incorrect or duplicate charge occurred
Refunds generally will not be granted for:
- Change of mind
- Failure to evaluate during the trial period
- Infrastructure incompatibility
- Regulatory dissatisfaction
- Lack of technical expertise
- Expectation of managed installation, custom configuration, consulting, or guaranteed technical support not separately purchased or agreed in writing
- Failure to maintain backups before installing updates, changing configuration, restoring data, or performing maintenance
To request a product-related refund from the Company, contact us with the license delivery email, purchase email, approximate purchase date, license tier, and a clear description of the issue. We may ask for reasonable troubleshooting details before deciding whether a refund is appropriate.
4. Managed Payments and Link Refunds
For purchases completed using Stripe Managed Payments, Sold through Link, LLC ("Link") acts as merchant of record and provides transaction-level support. Customers may also request a refund through Link support. Link may issue refunds, including certain refunds requested within 60 days of purchase, under its refund policy, its transaction-integrity procedures, applicable payment-method rules, or applicable law.
This Company's 30-day product-refund policy does not restrict any refund right provided by Link or applicable law. For a Managed Payments transaction, this policy is subject to Link's applicable refund policy; if the policies conflict, Link's policy controls to the extent it provides the customer a refund right that is less restrictive than this policy. The Company may provide product-specific information to Link when Link reviews a request.
5. Technical Issues and Updates
If you report a technical issue, the Company's first remedy will generally be to provide reasonable troubleshooting guidance, a repair release, replacement update, workaround, rollback guidance, corrected documentation, or another practical path to restore the Software's core documented function.
A software defect, update issue, installer issue, or compatibility issue does not automatically create a refund right if a reasonable fix, workaround, replacement update, or support path is available within a reasonable timeframe.
Customers are responsible for making and verifying backups before installing updates, changing configuration, moving the Software to new hardware, restoring data, or performing maintenance. Refunds do not cover lost data, lost production, failed batches, crop loss, plant material loss, lab downtime, business interruption, or other consequential losses.
6. Fulfillment Issues
If a paid license, download link, or fulfillment email cannot be delivered or corrected after a completed purchase, the Company will either complete fulfillment, provide a reasonable alternative delivery method, or issue a refund where required by law or determined appropriate by the Company.
7. Refund Conditions
Refunds approved by the Company may require written confirmation that the Software has been uninstalled and all license keys deleted. A refund issued by Link may also result in the related license being disabled or terminated.
If a payment is reversed, charged back, refunded, or otherwise not completed, the related license may be disabled, terminated, or treated as unpaid unless otherwise required by law or agreed by the Company in writing.
8. Processing
Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. For Managed Payments purchases, Link processes the transaction refund and sends the related refund or credit-note notification. Processing times depend on the payment method and financial institution.
A Managed Payments refund includes sales tax, VAT, or GST paid on the refunded transaction as administered by Link. Currency conversion charges, bank fees, payment processor fees, marketplace fees, and other third-party charges may be non-refundable unless required by law or refunded by the applicable third party.
